A boutique advisory firm facilitating sustainable and responsible changes and solutions

Forward Advice was established by Hanne Lund Madsen in 2001 in order to respond to the advisory request by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to design the overall architecture of the Human Rights and Democracy Programme in Malawi with a budget of 60 mill DKK.  Since then more than 100 global companies, local governments, NGOs, UN Agencies and multilaterals have retained the advisory services of Hanne Lund Madsen and associates.

Hanne Lund Madsen is a dedicated Sustainability professional and Business and Human Rights professional. She has 30 years of experience from more than 40 countries globally. She employs a multidisciplinary approach to strategic development and change processes with a firm eye on results that matter.

She has a documented track record in facilitating complex change processes in unpredictable contexts and in reaching the intended impact.

With leadership experience across the corporate, public and voluntary sector she has also worked as a trusted advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UN, bilateral donors and humanitarian agencies and she appreciates the perspectives and interests of diverse stakeholders. For 7 years she engaged in the establishment and development of the Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy and currently she is appointed as the Chair of the Danish Center for Conflict Resolution. By training she  holds Master of International Development Studies; Master of Human Geography and Master of International Law – Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
