The functioning of polical parties in todays democracies around the world create headlines on BBC and CNN every day. But how do we view the role of political parties in different political systems and not least how do we strengthen the political parties in order that they strengthen democracy? And how do we facilitate multi-party dialogue and reaching coalitions for change?

Drawing on 7 years of engagement in building the capacity of political parties and facilitating multi-party dialogue in 14 countries around the world I can offer strategic advice and competence development as well as fine-tuning the organizational set-up and enhancing governance in terms of diversity, women in politics, accountability and transparency. I can also assist in designing and appraising political party support programmes or evaluate cooperation projects seeking to enhance democracy and civil society engagement.
